Privacy Policy — VoltrMap

VoltrMap (the “App”) is developed and operated by ABC TECH (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the VoltrMap mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using VoltrMap you agree to this policy.

1. Scope & Eligibility

This policy applies to all users of VoltrMap. The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, please do not use this App.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account Data: Name, email, and authentication details (Firebase Authentication, Apple/Google sign-in).
  • Location Data: Precise location when using map features or adding charging spots.
  • User-Submitted Content: Spots, reviews, photos, and related metadata.
  • Device Data: Device model, OS version, app version, crash logs (Crashlytics), and anonymous analytics.
  • Offline Cache: Temporary local storage of map tiles and recent spots for offline usage.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and improve the App’s map and location services.
  • Authenticate users and manage access.
  • Enable adding and moderating charging spots.
  • Send push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Analyze usage, fix crashes, and improve performance.

4. Moderation Process

When users add new charging spots, submissions are stored in a pending collection and reviewed by moderators. Approved content is then made public. We may remove inaccurate or inappropriate content at any time.

5. Sharing & Third Parties

We use Firebase for authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications. These services process data on our behalf under their privacy and security terms.

VoltrMap does not show ads or include advertising SDKs in its first version. If this changes, we will update this policy and notify users.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • We retain your data while your account remains active.
  • You may request deletion of your account or data by contacting support@abctechouse.com.
  • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days where feasible.

7. Security

We use TLS encryption and Firebase security rules to protect your data. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

8. International Transfers

Firebase may process data outside your country. By using VoltrMap, you consent to these transfers necessary to provide the service.

9. Age Restrictions

VoltrMap is designed for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us for removal.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will appear in the App and on our website with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
